Videographer / Editor Internship

ABOUT THE POSITION:
We are looking for a creative Videographer intern to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands on experience and be part of a rapidly growing entertainment media company based out of  the largest film studio in Miami.   Our office environment is fun and casual while remaining fast paced and professional.  You will work in a team environment alongside digital marketing strategists, designers, copywriters, project managers, and company executives.  You will gain the necessary experience needed to succeed in this field.   We work with clients ranging from independent artist to major label recording artist.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
-Creating viral music videos, documentary style videos, behind the scene videos, animations, mashup videos, lyric videos and more for music artists and entertainment brands
-Editing, shooting, creating treatments, brainstorming ideas
-Creating time-lapse videos and other cool viral ideas that build brand value and get attention
-Shoot at our music videos and productions to utilize the footage to create teasers, behind the scenes, interviews, process documentary, and features
-Grab footage of fashion shows, events and parties that we put on for clients to create viral videos online
-Assist directors in our production company, assignments range from commercials to music videos

REQUIRED SKILLS:
-Enrolled in College, some College experience, or graduated with a degree in a related field.
-Must be efficient with Avid or Final Cut Pro
-Must know how to edit and/or shoot (a plus if you can also do motion graphics).
-Strong visual skills and a modern style to shooting and editing
-Ability to be proactive during shoots and work your way around sets
-Must love the music industry

ADDITIONAL INFO:
-Location: By the Miami International Airport in the largest Film, TV, and Photography Studio
-Compensation: Unpaid internship (3 month commitment) with a possibility for hire
-Hiring is based on performance and current business needs
-Must have reliable transportation and a working laptop
-Flexible work schedule to accommodate your school needs if any.  Ideally 1 to 3 days per week
